LINDENLARK

Breed:  J. C. Thoroughbred (raced once as a 3-yr. old)
Sex:  Gelding
Potential:  Trail Horse, Eventer, Hunter, Lesson Horse, Barrel Horse
Date of Birth:  3/15/04
Height:  15.3 1/2 hands
Color:  chestnut w/2 white hind socks, white coronary band on left front, star and stripe
Price:  $750

This cute guy is very friendly and personable.  Linden likes being groomed and stands tied nicely.  He trailers well, is good for the farrier and easy to catch in the field.   He doesn't know much since he has only raced, but he is dead quiet, not spooky, somewhat lazy, and does not buck.  He would be safe for an advanced beginner with trainer supervision and will eventually make a nice lesson horse or husband-safe horse.  I have been doing Clinton Anderson ground work with him and he has picked it up quickly.  He also ground drives quietly.  This guy is light on his feet with a very comfortable jog trot that is easy to sit.  He seems very willing to learn and could easily make a hunter or eventer or even a barrel racer as he is rather athletic.  Linden will reach 16 hands by the time he is 6 yrs. old as he is going through a growth spurt right now and is slightly higher in the rear than in front.  His price will go up as I put more time and training into him.

      "NICO"

TUNICA HILLS
Breed - sire was 1/2 TB, 1/2 Percheron, dam was a TB (from Angola Prison breeding program - has prison brand on left haunch)
Sex - Gelding
Potential:  Event/Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Prospect
Date of Birth:  2003
Height:  15.3 1/2 hands barefoot, will probably mature at 16.0 hands
Color:  bay roan, 4 high white stockings, white on thighs and belly, bald face, dark eyes
Price:  $3,500

"Nico" is a striking boy who is very sweet and calm.  Nothing seems to bother him and he is not at all spooky.  Stands tied quietly, good for farrier, sound, no vices, easy keeper - stays fat on just grass or hay.  OK with dogs walking under him.  Lively but easily controlled.  Will stop instantly when you say "whoa".  Does lovely rein yields and is now getting on the bit although I have not ridden him much lately.  Knows Clinton Anderson lunging and can send over jumps on the lunge.  Nice soft mouth and flexible body.  Very floaty mover so would make a good dressage horse.  Lovely big hard feet that rarely need trimming with sturdy bones and joints.  Willing jumper and careful with his feet although I have only jumped him maybe 3 times total.  This flashy boy would look good in any discipline.
